Sammy-Sized Gap Charity Match

Narberth youth 7 - 27 Tenby youth

     In an entertaining 1st match of the season being played in aid of local charity  "The Sammy-sized Gap" the young Otters entertained local rivals Tenby in a fierce battle. The 1st quarter was fairly evenly matched with neither side giving an inch. Tenby taking the lead with an easy penalty from Infront. Tenby then started to gain the upper hand with their more experienced side utilising their ball carries to greater effect after sustained pressure Tenby scored a converted try in the club house corner Narberth worked there easy back up field late in the half and were held up over the try line half time 0 -10.
     Tenby managed to maintain the pressure in the second half and scored a further two tries and a penalty. Narberth never gave up and managed to score a well worked consolation try by Owen Woof and converted by Ashton O’riordan.
Man of the match sponsored by Pant Mawr Cheese was awarded to Owen Woof.
